Update 0.1.43: All Hallows

Something is stirring. Halloween begins on October 15 and runs until the end of November 1. The server changes are live today; the app changes arrive with 0.1.43 on Android, iOS and Windows.

Server

Halloween (October 15 to November 1)

• Ghouls and skeletons roam the world. Skeletons drop Bones, ghouls drop Ectoplasm.
• A Halloween Hunt event runs all season - one point for every ghoul or skeleton you bring down.
• An Event Vendor sets up in every Trade Hub. Trade Ectoplasm and Bones for a ghost-green Spectral Flag Dye, a Spirit Lantern for your land, and a Hallowed Skull trophy.
• Crown Collection, Halloween only: the Hollow Harvest Helm, the Crooked Grin Mask and the Plague Doctor Mask (400 Royal Sigils each) and the Haunted Watch tower skin (600). Gone for good after November 1.

New

• Tower skins: dress a personal tower in a new look. Take it off whenever you like to get the item back, and if the tower falls the skin returns to your bag.
• Plant a Mourning Berry and a sapling springs up. Eight hours later it's a full Mourning Tree with a ripe berry on it - anyone can pick it or chop it down.
• Saplings can't be chopped while they grow, and they need 20 metres of space away from trees, resources, buildings and creatures.

Fixes

• Trolls that went missing after a flag hop come back to you, and they no longer vanish when you travel.
• Travelling from inside a building now costs the right number of Wayfeathers.

Client

• Ghouls and skeletons have their own art, ready for October 15.
• New Plant button on the Mourning Berry in your bag - a sapling springs up right where you stand. Tap it to see how far it has grown.
• Mourning Trees, their berries and the new saplings have fresh art.
• Tower skins: dress a personal tower from its menu, and take the skin off whenever you like.
• The Trade Hub's market table opens the Event Vendor during Halloween.
• Inside a building, the Wayfeather price and your companions' distances now show correctly.
