Update 0.1.42: Event Pages
Events get their own pages with rewards and leaderboards, trolls can carry shields, and a Windows crash is fixed.
This update sets the stage for events. The server changes go live later today; the app changes arrive with 0.1.42 on Android, iOS and Windows.
Server
- More caves to discover: about 1,000 are now hidden around the world, up from 400.
- Events run from midnight to midnight (UTC).
- Event announcements at the top of the screen clear away after a minute.
- Walking into your Log Cabin shows everything on the floor and in your chest right away.
Client
New
- Events have their own pages: a tab for each event, rewards to claim as you score, and a leaderboard showing what the top players win.
Fixes
- You can give your troll a shield.
- Fixed a crash on some Windows PCs right after signing in.
- A server hiccup no longer says the realm is down for maintenance - you'll see "The realm is busy - try again in a moment" instead.
